Student tried to commit suicide...in surgery now

Please keep one of the students at my school in your prayers. I know the student and his sister (who is one of my students) well. He tried to kill himself this afternoon over his grades. He has a bullet lodged in his head and is in surgery right now as they are trying to remove it. Please keep them in your prayers!
 
Loving God please have compassion on this desperate boy and his family. Please give wisdom and healing to his parents and comfort and heal his sister and those who love him. Please guide the surgeons who are removing the bullet, and grant him healing if possible. If there has been pressure regarding his grades please protect others from excessive guilt and hurt. Have mercy on all involved in this boy’s life, dear God.

Please be with this young man in his most desperate hour. Grant your strength and courage and comfort to him, and his family and friends who are in pain over his selfish decision tonight.
Please help us, as adults who are around all these lost and lonely young people today, be strong witnesses to your unconditional love for them, and please use us to bring your message of hope and peace to them.

We ask in the name of Jesus Christ, your beloved Son.
