Student's father died in plane crash

I attend a small Catholic college and today I received an email from one of the Sisters informing the school body that one of our resident students received word today that his father died in a small plane crash. The student’s name is Christopher. Please pray for the repose of his father’s soul and the affected family!

Lord, embrace with open arms Christopher’s father into the eternal kingdom as he is led by an escort of trumpeting angels. Take into heaven also anyone else who may have departed this earth in this plane crash. Comfort with many graces anyone suffering from this matter, especially Christopher, that, somehow, through the mystery of suffering, they draw close to your Sacred Heart. Let not the suffocating fumes of this fallen world stifle the hope or faith of these souls. Lead Christopher and all souls ever toward the eternal banquet, that they might sup joyfully with this father and you, and all the angels and saints. Have mercy, Lord. Our Lady, angels, and saints, pray with us. Amen.
