Hey Everyone,
Been a while since I have been active online, my apologies.
Quick question for my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ…
Which study Bible do you prefer/recommend?
I have been looking at both the Little Rock Study Bible as well as the Ignatius Catholic Study Bible. Not entirely sure the key differences between the two or if anyone has any experience using either.
I appreciate any feedback, thanks!

The Ignatius Catholic Study Bible, New Testament is the New Testament only. It uses the RSV-2CE translation and has excellent notes. The notes are a nice blend of theological / historical. It is pretty big for a NT only, it uses very thick paper. One day the Bible will be finished!?!
The Didache Bible which is available in both the RSV-2CE and NABRE translations is excellent. The Didache notes are theological / Liturgical which are based upon the Catechism of the Catholic Church (the NABRE version also has the NABRE notes which are historical-critical based). Both Bibles have 24 maps and 100+ apologetic pages which are very helpful!
The Little Rock Catholic Study Bible uses the NABRE in single column, very nice page layout. This Bible has the NABRE notes at the bottom of each page which are historical-critical based. The Bible also use informational / Liturgical / Social Justice based notes, small b&w pictures and small in page maps on the page scattered through out the Bible. This also is a thick Bible.
The Catholic Study Bible (Oxford) uses the NABRE, has NABRE notes at the bottom of each page and has a 500 page reading guide in the front of the Bible which gives an overview of every book of the Bible. This is a historical- critical based reading guide and notes, very good in-page maps to supplement the excellent Oxford maps at the end of the Bible. A very good study Bible for a person who is taking theology classes, teaches or wants a more in depth study of the Scriptures, their structure and formation.
If you have any further questions, I own three of these Bible, just ask.
