Is the NAB study bible a good one? Are the commentary notes alright? I read on a catholic website that the notes were bad. Please help.

There is already a thread running on this called New American Bible…is it any good?
 
The study notes to the NAB are horrible.
A good bible for devotional reading is the Revised Standard Version Catholic edition.

For STUDY, I urge you to get a HAYDOCK Study Bible Douay-Rheims. The study notes are orthodox and in-depth. It’s fantastic.
