The claim that stem cells can be drawn from amniotic fluid which was donated by expectant mothers holds much the same promise as human embryonic stem cells is just outrageous. Here’s something many folks like Dr. Robert Lanza fail to understand: using the stem cells from amniotic fluid is ethical while killing an embryo in order to acquire his stem cells is not ethical.

Just yesterday (or perhaps Friday), I was watching a program on EWTN (it may have been the one with Fr. Pavone); the stem cells found in amniotic fluid was discovered 7 yrs ago and publication of the discovery was supressed. Sorry, I don’t have a link to verify this, so my post may be deleted by a moderator.
