;)Being a former protestant I always did go to Bible study. It was just part of my Faith. I really enjoyed it so much and still do, that through the years my library has grown. Most of my books, tapes, and CD’s are from a dispensational view ie. rapture, premillennial, and prophecy…Today I’m learning that Catholics do believe in the Bible. I’ve learned that it was The Holy Catholic Church that put together and perserved The Bible by The Power of Gods Spirit. I’ve been learning alot from Dr. Scott Hahn, Michael Voris, and Jeff Cavins Great Adventure. Any other sites or study tools please post them. Thanks and may God Bless You, HisGrace:thumbsup:

I’m with you. Bible study is awesome. I had an NAB Bible and a Ryrie next to each other most nights when I was learning to understand where Catholics were coming from.

I just picked up the Ignatius Catholic Study Bible from Amazon.com for about $19 bucks shipped. It’s amazing. If you ever used a Ryrie Study Bible, this is like the Catholic version but on steroids. It has notations for Catechism references, specific Church teachings, etc… It’s only NT but it’s as thick as my large print St. Joseph’s full Bible.

I also have a copy of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. It’s really handy when I find a CCC reference in the Ignatius bible.

If you go to youversion.com it’s a bible site that has the Douay-Rheims (sp?) Bible. It’s nice to have for comparison.
 
I have the ignatius study bible new testament. Fantastic!

They have put out genesis in the old testament, I think they are working their way through.
