Studying particular topics

Is it wise to study some thelogy modules at a secular university, when I do not know the Church’s stance on many issues (issues that are not in the Catechism)?
 
Based on what I have read in you posts on other threads, I don’t believe it would be wise for you to do so. I believe you would be easily mislead.
