How do you study or read the bible?
I’ve seen on TV and read on blogs how some people (usually some Protestant or fundamentalist group) have devotions every morning which seems to be a set time to read and/or study the bible, but I’m not sure how they do it. Do they follow a guideline for what to study and questions to think about, do they just start reading someplace and try to do five chapters a day? Something else?
I’d like to start reading the bible more frequently but instead of just reading to say I’ve done it, I’d like to remember passages and apply them to daily life. How can I read and study the bible where the message sticks?
