Is it normal for someone catholic to get the words “Fear God” tattooed on there body, or is it something only a christian would get?

Catholic = Christian

Where is the problem?
 
All Catholics are Christian.

Not all Christians are Catholic.

Therefore, any Catholic who would get this tatoo would also be a Christian…😉
 
It’s all in the intention. Getting tattoos is fine, but, why do they want “Fear God”?
 
Fear of the Lord is a gift of the Holy Spirit.
Fear of the Lord (Awe of God) - With the gift of wonder and awe (fear of the lord), we are aware of the glory and majesty of God. A person with wonder and awe knows that God is the perfection of all we desire: perfect knowledge, perfect goodness, perfect power, and perfect love. Nowadays, to say fear God is usually not a Christian sentiment, or it least should be suspect. Unfortunately people see belief in God as oppressive to the things they would like to do therefore God is bad.😦
 
It is not proper to human dignity to tattoo or mutilate the body.

So a person with fear of God, would fear in fact to get a tattoo. 🙂

Catholics ARE Christians. other than that, why would any believer prefer to etch a slogan on his body in permanent ink, rather than engrave the Word of God on his mind, heart and lips? How do you define "normal’? In my generation tattoos are not “normal” unless you were in the Navy. a gang, or a rock band or had a particularly tough time in the 60s. Nowdays, who knows.
 
When ever I think about tatoos I think of the girl who had a tiny geeko tatooed on her stomach. When she became pregnant it grew to be an iquana and after she her baby it shriveled up to tiny old lizard.
