Is it a sin to care about how you look?
My teacher continually argues with me that it is narcissitic and a sin of pride to worry about what clothes you wear. The funny thing is… its a public school.
Anyways, I like to dress according to unique trends because its a good way to fit in with a group of people and I feel that personality can be very vaguely explained by the choice of attire. I understand that this is a somewhat shallow view, but I don’t think of it as sin.
Is my specific situation a sin?
Have you spoken to a priest about a matter such as this?
If so, what did he have to say?
And how could this ever become sin?
