Suffering from scrupulosity; may I leave leave for another church?

If a person is struggling with scrupulosity (and can not manage it through various methods of help) and they decide out of desperation to leave the Church and attend a Protestant church ( because they find relief there)- will they go to hell? Thank you.

Hi,

Scrupulosity is not a religious matter so much as it is a psychological one. Going to another church isn’t going to solve anything. You need to understand what you are dealing with. Obsessive compulsive behavior is fed by irrational fear. I deal with many people here who carry this cross. If you would like to discuss this further privately, just click on my name above.
