My husband had a stroke last week and I’ve been wearing myself out running back and forth to hospitals and trying to run a home at the same time.
Desperately need some time out before I wind up in the hospital too.
Can someone either suggest to me an outline for an at-home day of recollection (retreat) or direct me to a website that maybe has one? I tried to do a search, but all that came up was secular stuff.
Thank you in advance!

Aroosi and IrishMom, thanks a million!

I’m too worn out to figure this out myself.

A few thoughts, first prayers for you, your family and dear husband.
If you have two or three days where you actually will not need to give full care to your husband at home, then first you must rest.
Rest, a good meal, quiet time even if it turns to crying time, a special picture of Jesus and have your rosary. Holy water to bless your home and place of prayer. Ask people to pray for you, if possible get to early mass, but really try not to do things you want done, very tempting when doing a home retreat. But before resting prepare place you want to pray in and rest in. Just some little ideas. 🙏
