O sorrowful Jesus, how profound and deep was your suffering in the Garden of Olives. So profound, that your sweat became drops of blood falling down upon the earth. By the merits of such great suffering and by the sorrows of the Immaculate Mother, we pray for those who are being tempted with suicide today. Wash them in your Most Precious Blood and free them from such spiritual struggle. Let your wonderful light penetrate their minds, hearts, and souls. Fill them with hope and faith in you. O Sorrowful Mother, we entrust these precious souls to you. Obtain for them God’s mercy. Saint Michael the Archangel, defend them. All the Angels and Saints, pray for them. Amen.
O Lord of Mercy and Compassion, we place before you the family members and friends of those who have taken their own life by suicide. How immense the pain and sorrow in their hearts! Their lives are changed forever, their hearts broken, their dreams shattered.
O God of infinite mercy, you alone can heal and console them. May the rays of your mercy penetrate their whole being, restoring in them the joy of life and a trusting love for you.
O holy Mother of God, you stood at the foot of the cross where Jesus suffered and died for love of us. Your heart was pierced by a sword of sorrow and you understand their pain. Behold the suffering of your children, hold them in your arms, and let them feel the love of your Immaculate
Heart.
