My hometown of Surabaya, Indonesia have just been hit by a series of suicide bombings. Churches and police stations were especially targeted. There have been many fatalities.
The whole town is like a ghost town now; people are living in fear.

We’d very much appreciate your prayers.

For the deceased, I pray: Eternal rest grant unto them, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon them. May they rest in peace.

I will also pray for the healing and comfort of the injured and bereaved. May our Lord draw everyone closer to Him. If the attackers are still alive, then I pray for their repentance and conversions. I pray for justice to be served. Finally, I will pray for those living in fear to receive assistance from our Lord.

Lord, please bless the people effected by this targeted murder. Please heal the people of this town and allow your love and teachings help those in need to change they mindset of others and allow people to love than to hate. Allow refuge and guidance to those in need, I ask this in your name, Jesus, Amen!

I pray that God has mercy on all of the victims and that He makes Surabaya even stronger than it was before. Amen.
 
So sad…prayed for Surabaya. I will include your petition in my daily rosary and divine mercy chaplet prayers. May God protect Surabaya.
