Has it occurred to you yet, that you are the only person participating in CAF who makes this claim?

Of all the members participating in the divers threads on this very topic, every single cleric (both priest and deacon) and every layperson participating has attempted to explain to you how you are wrong.

Not a single person participating has agreed with you.

Do you not think that of all of the collective experts who participate in these online discussions; clergy, laity, canonists, liturgists, etc., if you were right, then at least one expert in the matter might agree with you?

Not a one has done so. Does that not tell you something?

Whoa! Who said you couldn’t attend both? We all said you don’t have to attend both, but you are certainly free to do so if you wish. Many people attend both. More power to them.

But YOU keep insisting that we MUST attend both, in direct contradiction of what the Church requires. The Church requires us to attend 1 Mass either on Sunday or on Saturday evening. It doesn’t matter which Mass one attends on Saturday evening, be it the Mass of Sunday, a wedding Mass, a Funeral Mass, an Ordination Mass, or a Confirmation Mass; any of those fulfill your obligation to attend Mass on Sunday. That that Sunday happens to be Easter Sunday makes absolutely no difference.

You need to stop this and stop it now. You are the one is attempting to lead others astray and sow discord by your false assumptions. If you are that confused and do not understand what is being posted here, please go see your own priest. By your own admission on that “other” thread, you apparently don’t understand the difference between having earned a PhD and just being a 20 year-old college student, so perhaps you do not understand the difference between telling someone they must attend Mass on Sunday to fulfill the Sunday obligation and that a Vigil Mass on Saturday evening is essentially a Sunday Mass that does fulfill the obligation.

People most certainly can go to Mass on the Easter Vigil and Easter Sunday; I know many that do. Why do you think they cannot?
 
I’m thinking we are dealing with significant mental impairment. There is no discernible language barrier based on posts in other threads, but certainly some issues going on with comprehension and communication, along with understanding that being a 20 year-old college student is not equal to having earned a PhD in Religious Studies. Praying for this troubled soul.
 
I started learning english 6 years ago in my first year of high school, and moved to us 2 years ago for university.
 
You’re the one accusing me of spreading lies and evil over a simple disagreement. Is this how you treat everyone you disagree with? Accuse them of corruption?

This must be a american custom. We catholics in Europe are required to attend mass both days. That’s what i meant by American arrogance
