Hello !

I’m trying to find, online if possible, a list of all scripture covered during the 3 year cycle.
I’m curious to see HOW MUCH of the bible is actually covered.

I also want to see how much more is covered if I include the daily masses also. (are the daily masses also on the 3 year cycle?)

Thank you!

The daily Masses are on a two-year cycle for the First Reading only; for the Gospel, it is a one-year cycle.

The Sunday three-year cycle covers Matthew in Year A, Mark and some of John in Year B, Luke in Year C. The remainder of John is covered in all three years on the Sundays after Easter.

The First Reading is usually selected to harmonize with the Gospel reading. The Second Reading is sequential, in that it doesn’t necessarily harmonize with either the First Reading or the Gospel.

The Responsorial Psalm is keyed to the First Reading as well as the Gospel.

:bigyikes: I CANNOT believe they don’t include 100% of all of the Gospels at least! :ehh:
I supect they leave out parallel accounts of stories that are used in other Gospels. For example (and I’m just guessing in using this as an example) this week we hear the story of blind Bartinaeus in Mark. There are other shorter versions of this story in Luke and Matthew, but if Mark is the most complete, we might only hear the one.
