Do you all still have “traditional” family Sundays out there?

Here, a quiet day that I make different as I can… Knowing there is prayer on all sides in all our Irish churches…

Will catch mass on the internet and there is such a wide choice here now,

Else a quiet day here, knitting, in prayer, tending my critters… Having a special meal too; a ready meal turkey and ham dinner,

Wherever you are and whatever you are doing, have a blessed Sunday!

roflol that would be telling but would dearly love a hobbit house, Kerry folk call the county “The Kingdom” and as it if were a separate entity., they speak of independence from the rest of Ireland… geography would assist that,… things are different out here!

Sunday afternoon and evening are the only significant time we have together as a family that isn’t spent asleep. We usually do something special. Today we’re poor, so we’re going for a long hike and a picnic. Last weekend we drove out to the country, to a place called Johnson’s Shutins, where there’s a beautiful, rocky river with a long series of chutes and waterfalls. We had a picnic and swam in the cool water! We also like festivals and going out to dinner. We try our best to get out of the house because if we’re home, we just mess it up by trying to fix or clean something. Since we’re going out in the afternoon today, I’m going to make dinner at home tonight. I’m frying chicken and making homemade peach ice cream for dessert. Then we need to get the mess cleaned up so I can go back to work tomorrow!
