I will defend myself against accusations that I “stole” someone else’s stories when I did no such thing Enough is enough
You failed to cite your source. Most schools would consider that enough to give you a zero, fail you for the course, and many of them consider it grounds for expulsion (my college does).

I was with you until you posted that snide remark.

You don’t need to stoop to such lows. OTCA has a problem with stealing others’ work. OTCA’s continually stealing work that belongs to others is behavior that “tells on” itself. Once you’ve pointed out the theft, we can figure out the rest. 🙂

I appreciate your pointing out the many times OTCA has presented other’s work as her own. There is some good in this. The stuff she steals is very interesting.

Hmmm. I was going to say that I appreciate her posting the info, but if we accept her offerings here, are we in receipt of stolen goods? ;)😃

OTCA, why are you so obstinate? You’re supposed to give a source if you’re using someone else’s work. Why don’t you do that? Are you attempting to mislead others into thinking that the work is your own? Even if you can’t be bothered to name the author, at least use quotation marks. Is there a reason that you refuse to follow the rules?
I would never take credit where credit is not due. I post stories that’s it. Are you innocent of this as well as others? And stop saying I “stole” someone’s stuff. That is absurd. Many non-Catholics here crucify any little thing you do for their own benefit of reasoning. Just an excuse to jump on something any Catholic does even if it just as small as this. God will judge, not you. You seem to have a problem with that.

So what? CAF isn’t a college now is it.

You can post someone elses “story” as you call their work. But you have to cite the source. Passing it off as your own work or thoughts is against forum rules.

Can’t you just use quotation marks?

I don’t post other people’s work without giving credit. Even if I take a line from another thread on this forum, I use quotation marks to show that the words are no my own.

It seems that you are the only one here who refuses to do the right thing. God will judge you, but that doesn’t mean that the people around you can’t insist that you play by the rules of decency and this forum.

B]* I’m not the plagiarist *
Oh, and that makes it okay to be the “stalker”?

Jesus said, “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you” …
Why do you profess faith in God and** not **do what He commands, my friend?
Why not “…take the beam out of your own eye so that you can see clearly to remove the speck” in your [sister’s] eye?" (Jesus)

Why don’t you take your own advice  👍

Oh and this is an internet forum. If someone makes a claim that something is in Scripture, it’s reasonable that they should be able to back their claim up from Scripture when asked to do so. If they can’t, the correct thing to do is admit they were wrong, and they don’t know what they are talking about 👍

Most especially if they appear to think that being catholic allows them to look down on those that are not and leap on every opportunity to highlight their lack of worthiness.

This is all the more ironic when they refuse to take correction themselves, declare individuals in hell - something even the catholic church itself does not do - call into doubt the teachings of the catholic church on the validity of Orthodoxy, and think Jesus was ‘‘produced’’ to be led the jews and that Christ came to lead the jews to the Geniles.

Oh, not to mention all the plagiarism that has been highlighted to them time after time.

And yet when corrected they view it as some sort of anti-catholic attack, and then resort to claims of stalking :rotfl::rotfl:

Now, reread the words of Jesus you quoted above, act on them, apply them to yourself, and stop worrying about others, I’m sure you have plenty to keep you busy  👍

You have no dispute with an early Church Father, Saint Justin Martyr? Please explain what the dispute would be, you lost me. Thanks and God Bless!
You are correct. I have no dispute with Saint Justin Martyr on this topic. None.

Peace

What if they aren’t as well versed in the Scriptures as you are.? (after all, that is a reputation we Catholics are finding hard to “shake off”.:p)
And if anyone of us is wrong, it’s because we are weak and sinful human beings. Ever heard this one, “Christians [Catholics] aren’t perfect, we’re just forgiven”?(unknown) (brackets* mine*) Perhaps if you take a different approach with our friend in Christ, let’s say, like Jesus would do, you may have more blessings then you ever imagined!:getholy: Isn’t that why we’re all here on CAF? We really shouldn’t be here to highlight anyone’s* lack of worthiness*. That’s the devil’s stupid, dumb-dumb work, right?

Like this you mean:

OneTrueCathApos:
You are hopeless. No matter what.

OneTrueCathApos:
Another Catholic admiring Luther…God give me strength…

OneTrueCathApos:
These are lies with John Robbins being extremely jealous of this brilliant man. Robbins probably never even finished high school

OneTrueCathApos:
You know Edwin, you must stop your redderick about your condescending ways of speaking to people. I agree with adstrinity because you must be a Catholic to understand where he is coming from
40.png
OneTrueCathApos:
Having a PH.D doesn’t make you any smarter, in fact most who are “brilliant” don’t have any common sense
40.png
OneTrueCathApos:
You are being really ridiculous and you are making a fool out of yourself…
40.png
OneTrueCathApos:
Jesus Christ is YOUR Messiah. Open your eyes.
40.png
OneTrueCathApos:
As soon as you realize this the better off you’ll be as Christian

OneTrueCathApos:
I think when one gets information from a website that isn’t credible is not their fault. It is the fault and lies of that person who started that website to begin with.
40.png
OneTrueCathApos:
Like I mentioned earlier, if you were Catholic, you’d be a much better person…
40.png
OneTrueCathApos:
Wrong…but to explain it to you after there are countless answers here is worthless.
40.png
OneTrueCathApos:
Let’s not go there. If I had a nickel for every time a Muslim killed a Christian, I’d be a gazillionaire.
40.png
OneTrueCathApos:
They were Muslim. Murderers. Troublemakers. Targeting Americans and British in terror. That is why it is called terrorism. Muslim woman, wake up and smell the atrocities your people are causing…
40.png
OneTrueCathApos:
Oh, that explains even more about you. :whacky: :whacky:

OneTrueCathApos:
Muslims are always in a crisis…just my:twocents: 🤷
There’s hundreds more where they came from

You’d be better off talking to your new found friend about not highlighting other’s lack of worthiness don’t you think 👍 Seems she has it down pat.

sigh**Please, would it kill you to link your sources? When you don’t, it makes it look like you are claiming ownership.

My question is this, do you actually intend to discuss when Protestants have their day of rest or do you just want to bash them?:o

In Christ,
Andrew
Guyonthestreet, Maybe she just forgot just like you forgot to tell your relieion, I assume you for got because most of us here are Christians.

It’s alright Bill, it doesn’t bother me. He is utterly pathetic and what’s funny is everyone knows this, so he just looks like a fool…Keep up the good posts Bill 👍

Which new found friend?*** You*** or all of the others on this thread? We’re all called to live the virtues of charity and forbearance(tolerance and restraint in the face of provocation). Why do you insist on always putting the emphasis on another’s faults and not taking personal responsibility for your own misdeeds?
You seem like such a nice “guy” otherwise.🙂 Respectfully, my new found friend, my best advice to you is still to take a “chill pill”:snowing:(don’t you love that graphic?) and say a prayer for this friend of ours to learn from your*** reformed ***example. Okay?
God bless you!

Hello Bill. She didn’t forget, you can check the other threads around here that have discussed the issue with her and her unwillingness to cite sources.🙂

You lost me with the part about religion.

In Christ,
Andrew

Oh you are just soooo sweet, OTCA. Come on, get back to the topic and stop acting so sophomoric.

Sunday was designated as the day of rest for Christians, but this didn’t really occur until Christianity and Judaism moved further apart. When I was very young, my family was a part of the Armstrong church (Worldwide Church of God) and they had church services on Saturdays. Even though their theology is out of whack, people can learn from their devotion to this belief, which they actually lived out. Today, most Christians do not treat Sunday as a holy day. That is a shame.:o

In Christ,
Andrew
