The following is from the Catechism:
“Traditional activities (sport, restaurants, etc.), and social necessities (public services, etc.), require some people to work on Sundays, but everyone should still take care to set aside sufficient time for leisure.”
’
I am lifeguarding this summer. I would consider that job to go under a traditional activity that requires some to work. I have to work from noon to 9PM this Sunday. If “everyone should still take care to set aside sufficient time for leisure,” and I don’t have much free time on Sunday, am I avoiding sin if I try to use as much as I can for leisure?
