We’ve got a game this Sunday! Broncos and Panthers - who are you cheering for, who are you predicting?

Normally I don’t love or hate either of these teams, but I have found myself cheering Carolina on, since around week #10 or so.

Cam is great! And I like the dancing and celebrating!

Go Panthers!

Who ya got?

My general rule, when I don’t have a dog in the fight, is to back the team that has either never won the championship, or has waited the longest.

Therefore, Panthers.
 
Neither? I’ve not been this disinterested in a Super Bowl since 2002.
 
I’ll have to go with Carolina. It’d be nice to see Manning get a second ring, but Carolina has been very consistent all season.

I think that too much has to go right for Denver for them to win.

In any case, it will be quite a match-up between two SEC alum QB’s.
 
Panthers all the way! We lived in Charlotte from 2007 to 2015 and watched Cam grow from a newly graduated college quarterback (who didn’t seem to be well received by the team) to the Panthers team leader. I admire him - he seems to have kept his head on straight and is involved in charities for kids.
 
With the failure of the Patriots to make the Super Bowl a wonderful act of Divine Justice, all I care about this year is literally the commercials. Not even making any nachos.
 
I’m a Broncos fan, but I won’t be too upset if the Panthers win. I sort of want Manning to have a good send off, though. I certainly hope it doesn’t end as badly as last year. What a horrible way to leave football that would be!
 
I don’t have a pony in this race, but…

Not a fan of Cam’s arrogance so I’ll be rooting for Denver. Plus I like Peyton and since this will be his last game, it’d be nice for him to retired with the Lombardi trophy.

I think the Panthers are going to win though. 😦

The only way it will end up that badly is if Denver turns the ball over like Arizona did. There’s not as big of a mis-match like there was 2 years ago.

The biggest issue I see for the Broncos is can they be consistent on offense and stop Cam on 3rd down.

I just think too much has to go right for them.

Best case scenario is they jump out ahead and force Carolina to throw.
 
I’m all for the Panthers and my former Boston College Eagle, the awesome (on and off the field) Luke Kuechly. I’m hoping he gets another pick 6. Fearsome competitor, outstanding young man.

But they are not playing a vilified team. Cam and Carolina are an incredible NFL team! I won’t cry and smash everything I own if Carolina wins like when Seattle won…
My perfect game?
Cam does at least one superman over the pile to score but Peyton digs deep to organize one of the best 2 minute drills in history to win the game.

Halftime was *weird *though – I was especially annoyed by all the gaudy colors. Bleh. I wonder if that is what an LSD trip looks like… -_-

Personally, I like some of the songs they sing, but only when they are redone by other artists. 😛
