Will all the selected ones be converted to a new suprerman race with glorious clothes for our souls and the rest killed or else the saints led by Pope amongst the church become Supermen ruling over other faithful ones who will have a chance to progress to the Superman status in the next 1000 years?

None of the above has to do with any Catholic teaching I’m aware of. Could you elaborate?

I am a new Catholic. So forgive my ignorance.
By selected ones - I mean those humans who will be saved by the blood of Jesus.
by Superman - I mean we will have glorious bodies which is different from the present corruptible ones.
by 1000 years - I mean 1000 years of Jesus’ rule after Armageddon.

The church does not teach of a literal 1000 year rule of Jesus on earth after Armageddon.

A brief summary of end-time teachings of the Catholic Church (off the top of my head).

We are in the end-times and have been since the death of the last apostle.
Christ will come again on the last day, all will ris again; the saved to everylasting life in Heaven with glorified bodies (certainly seems like superman is not that far off to me, ha);the damned with their bodies into hell.
IIRC, The so called 1000 year reign of Jesus is the reign of Him today. 1000 years representing a long time.
The second coming of Christ will be preceeded by three events (none of which the Church takes a stance on if they have occurred or not) 1) A great tribulation of the Church 2) the Jewish people making a final choice to accept Christ or not and 3) the Gospel being preached to the entire world.

It is possible you will find that Catholics stress the Catholic Church’s end-time theology a LOT less than many protestant denominations. We need to concentrate one our own call-to-holiness and our own life-long conversion. Since fundamentalists proclaim salvation by faith alone, an individual call-to-holiness is not that important to them;hence they focus on the end-times.

It is possible you will find that Catholics stress the Catholic Church’s end-time theology a LOT less than many protestant denominations.

It’s also beneficial to note that the end times started, not at the death of the last Apostle (that was when Public Revelation ended), but at the death of Our Lord on the Cross.

We, as Catholics, seem to stress end-time theology less then Protestant denominations because everything that St John saw and recorded in the Book of the Apocalypse happens every time we partake in the Liturgy. This eschatological (ie, “end-times”) view of the Liturgy is more noticeable in the Extraordinary Form of the Mass than the Ordinary Form, and A LOT more noticeable in the liturgies of the East than of the West. We seem to not stress eschatology as much as Protestant denominations because we actually live it in our worship.

Perhaps you should bring these questions, preferably one at a time, to your priest, or go back and have a talk with your RCIA director or sponsor. They should be able to help.

Because you have posted quite a few of this type of thread with ‘this is my opinion’; and I can’t quite understand. As a ‘new Catholic’, virtually all these subjects (who Jesus is, what happens at the Second Coming, the difference between humans and angels, etc.) should have been covered, and the fact that you don’t even voice the Church’s teaching but bring up some very, um, DIFFERENT ‘opinions’ and ask 'what do you think", not, “Is this correct according to Catholic teaching” seems kind of strange to me.

Catholic teaching isn’t ‘majority opinion’.

I have to voice the same concerns. You have started several threads which ask questions and even tell us of your faith in some things which are not Catholic teaching at all.

As a new Catholic, you would have gone through RICA, no? Did they not teach you properly or did you not pay attention?

I agree with Tantum Ergo here. It would be wise to go back to your director or sponsor and have a talk with them, ask a priest or deacon for some good basic instructional material, or request to go through the RICA program again.
