Suppose an Apostle appeared on the scene today, but you only had the opportunity to ask him one question ...

I’d ask to show me the correct doctrine on everything. Does this petition count?

Knowing me I would blow my question on something like, “Wow! Am I dreaming?” 😛

But assuming I was given a second chance, I would most likely blow my next question on something equally as trivial like, “Can I get you anything?” I know, this is half joking. But I would probably be so overwhelmed that I wouldn’t be able to think and would revert to my “default” hospitality questions.

The poster who asked, “What do you want me to do?” pretty much asked the best question in my opinion 🙂

what would that question be?
I would invite him to accompany me to Mass and afterwards, ask him what his thoughts were: did he rejoice in the development of the Eucharistic celebration from his own day or did what he experience unsettle him? I’d like his take on Mass in the modern day.

I like Rinnie’s answer…that they are still here…

I would just look at the Apostle to see him in person vs my mind’s image…not say much of anything…just think.

Well…

If St. Paul, I might be tempted to ask about this book. 😉

If St. James, I’d definitely ask about faith and works. 😃

If St. Peter, hmmm, might be a bit of a toss-up: I mean, should I ask about the Papacy, or simply what he thought of this song?😉 😃
