That would be nice, equally cool is that public opinion is turning thanks to technology. It’s hard to call it a “zygote” or “mass of cells” or “tumor” when you can clearly see in 3 demensions that it’s a livnig human being.
and a heartbeat
Problem is the pro-abortionists are pushing the philosophical approach and we need to be able to respond accordingly:
- it isn’t SENTIENT
- the nerve endings aren’t fully connected
- the mind of the fetus isn’t congnizant, therefore it cannot feel pain because the brain doesn’t ‘understand’ what pain IS.
Yes, I actually read a report recently where a doctor states that since the brain of the fetus doesn’t know yet what pain is, it cannot feel pain.
I have Fibromyalgia. I was in pain for over a decade before I discovered that not everyone felt this way. I hurt, but I thought everyone did, it was my ‘normal’. I wasn’t really cognizant of what it was, didn’t have a name for it or understanding of it, but I none of that changed the fact that I hurt. I don’t think any reasonable person would conclude that babies can’t tell that it hurts when they are torn to pieces or burned by saline.
Honestly, when Roe v Wade was decided it was a day of profound mourning in our home. Even then I had no idea the depths to which we would fall, it was all so unthinkable.
We need to do more! Why are so many people silent?
Thank you for your post. We must also be hopeful. Nova did an amazing show on the development of a Baby, really wonderful, and a great example of what you are saying. Science IS helping people to see what is really happening, I pray that this trend continues. At the SF Walk for Life, I heard a speaker say that We CAN reverse Roe v Wade and for the first time ever, I believe it is possible.
Thank you for sharing your Hope.
