Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Our niece Debbie’s surgery on Feb. 23 went well but during the night there were some complications and we were very concerned because she was not responding to simple commands. There was no sign of stroke so we simply prayed and waited. The next morning she was able to squeeze the nurse’s hand. Thank God she was sitting up yesterday and able to eat a bit. She will probably be out of the surgical intensive care unit soon and in a regular hospital room. We are all so very grateful for your prayers. Please continue to remember her in prayers that she continues to have a good recovery and the next surgery will go well.
Our niece Amy is still not feeling well and is still waiting to see the specialist on March 10. Please keep her in your prayers that she can keep from discouragement while she awaits some kind of diagnosis and treatment. We continue to be grateful for all your prayers for these two nieces and the family. May the Lord in His Mercy work great good through these trials not only for our nieces and our family but in hidden ways for all those in most need. How beautiful is the mystery of the Body of Christ! By God’s grace, as one grows in Faith, Hope and Love through any trial, the whole Body grows stronger spiritually.
