Surrendering to God

Ok … I know we are to surrender to God, and I REALLY want to (and quite honestly even NEED to). I am struggling with something right now that is truly keeping me in chains. It’s not bringing me peace, and I know it’s not from God.

The only problem is … I don’t know how to give it to Him. I know I need to and I want to, but how do I go about doing that? I pray - a lot - for this, but I still can’t break free.

How do we actually surrender to God and give Him our problems?

ANY solid, Catholic advice is SOOOOO welcomed right now!! THANK YOU!

Our Lady said it best: “Be it done unto me according to Thy will.” Ask Him to do with you what He will, and that you do it. 🙂
 
I wish I could help but I continually struggle with the same issue. Being able to totally let go and give it to God is indeed difficult.
