no no they can prove nothing…mohammad attested to the Bible at his time and we all know we have the same Bible…even allah promised to preserve it and the Dead Sea Scrolls exposed him…enough with this non omnipotent allah who cannot preserve his word ( although he promised to preserve them).

Forgive me if I am wrong but I am a little inquisitive as to why you would ask such a question. I can guarantee that you will find absolutely NO Catholic on the face of the planet, with even the most basic knowledge of Catholic doctrine, who will say that Mary is God. Anyone who does is guilty of heresy, and the Church will very quickly, emphatically, and comprehensively say as much.
Exactly! It is doubtful that we should devote a forum to this question as it only reinforces the anti Catholic predjudices.

CORRECTION - Mary was conceived without Original Sin and never sinned either.

Also: it is a pious belief that John the Baptist was born without Original Sin
Hi, thanks for the link but if you don’t mind I would rather use the Bible as a reference just to be on the safe side. Romans 3:23 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

I think there is a misunderstanding of who Mary was. She was the virgin mother of Jesus. Born from the Holy Spirit.

Kindly point out where the scripture says that Mary was not a sinner. We, as Catholics, know that Jesus was born to save our souls from being eternally damned. Thanks to Adam and Eve, EVERYONE born of fornication is born with original sin and therefore a sinner… rt?

Mr. inJESUS,
You are keep repeating “we [Catholics] all know we have the same Bible.”, without realising it’s baslessness.

How do you know the **AnNasara wal-Yahood ** (The People of the Book) of Prophet’s time, of Arabia had the same Catholic Bible of 72~74 books?

When was the first time Arabic Bible translated? and translated by who and how many books were in it? Was it Ethiopiac or Orthodox or Catholic or…?

Most **AnNasara wal-Yahood ** of Arabia emrbaced Islam after the advent of Prophet Muhammed (pbuh) and their “Torah/Injeel” is not in existence anymore because they are not anymore AnNasara al-Yahood.

Do Catholics have a historical reliable record of those Arabian **AnNasara al-Yahood’s ** Bible? Did Catholic Church provide any official Arabic Bible to them? If so, where is it?

If you’re honestly a Catholic who doesn’t understand why the Church teaches that Mary was Immaculately Conceived/never sinned, then start a thread about it so we don’t go off on a tangent in this one. 👍

salaam Joseph, i won’t reply to your posts coz i’m finished with this mindet, no offence. If you know arabic tell me please.thx
Don’t worry about not offending me. Even if you did, I am pleased you are more considerate than before, thank you for that.

Yes I know Arabic, it is my mother tongue.

I enjoyed the discussions, and I greatly value the true Christian character which was shown to me by many of the Brethren. Thank you all.

I went off topic with the trinity issue, I hope the OP would close his eyes and pretend he saw nothing 😉

Salaam.
Joseph.

Yes, there is a misunderstanding, but it is in *your * interpretation. Go here to see what “all” really means in that verse and here to see what the early Christians believed.

muhammadanism.com/haddad/nazaritic_mission/quran_nazaritic_mission_1.pdf

muhammadanism.com/haddad/nazaritic_mission/quran_nazaritic_mission_2.pdf

this book made me understand the quran in a much better way…i’d like to discuss it with you if you want to…it looks lenghty but its not really coz the author repeats many stuff so as to keep track always.
