Suspicious that people are out to hurt my children

I’m fairly certain that I would know if a friend, family member, co-worker or fellow parishioner had been shot or stabbed. It’s my understanding that gunshots and knifings aren’t exactly easy to hide, though apparently you would know better than I.

Perhaps Satan has exposed you to such a barrage of violence in order to lure you into a skewed view of humanity and complete mistrust of your fellow human beings? It’s something to consider.

It depends on where you live. East St. Louis which is fairly close to me has reports of gunshots all the time. Only the other day 4 people were shot 3 of which were unintentional victims. One was an elderly lady just driving down the street at the time. There was another report of other shots unreported because the victims where afraid of retaliation from whomever shot them. It’s a crazy world.

things go unreported all the time (every day), and also most of what does get reported never makes it to the news. It keeps the general public ignorantly blissful…sometimes I wonder if it is indeed the right move.
