From today’s readings, Mark’s Gospel

The Phrase: "Hear this! A sower went out to sow.

The Feeling
Vitalized by the fruit of Jesus and His Word.

The Sense
The sower and the seed are one and the same. As a farmer would consume and share much of the fruit of his harvest, he would also save enough to resow for future harvests. He is made of this fruit, and the fruit is the product of Jesus, in word and in the Eucharist. Christ, the living Bread becomes one in us so that we might, in turn, resow Him in the souls and minds of others. A virtuous, sustainable cycle, planting within us creation’s logos seed which, tended within rich contemplation, may create abundant fruit, watered by His love, and replanted by we new sowers!

The Action
Feed my soul by Your presence, Lord, that I may become a joyful resower of You in the world!

Thank you for posting this inspiring reflection. GOD bless. 🙂
