Sweden is basically an atheist country, so it was probably more the non religious part of the population, rather than the small Muslim minority responsible for this.

Even the blog states
“the full force of the left wing extremists, the journalists, the muslim community and the holier-than-thou PC fanatics were all mobilized and convened in one, spot”

Also keep in mind that blogs are biased personal posts. To get the full story you need to google this and read several sources.

I think Europe will go Moslem in the end. It won’t be very sincere, and will mainly be in response to a crisis eg. oil embargo. After all they don’t have much oil of their own, and both the Middle East and Russia have reasons to be less than helpful in that situation.

I think the Brits will hold out, and revert to their Catholic roots, and Russia will go strongly Orthodox, as she’s increasingly doing today.

But I think the writing is on the wall for Europe. They’ve lost their salt.

This reminds me of the final paragraph in CS Lewis’ essay “We have no ‘right to happiness’”. He’s addressing specifically the principle of conjugal infidelity, but it can easily be extended to doing anything else we want, including the open abuse of the good -
Two further points remain.
One is this. A society in which conjugal fidelity is tolerated must always be in the long run a society adverse to women. Women, whatever a few males songs and satires may say to the contrary, are more naturally monogamous than men: it is a biological necessity. Where promiscuity prevails, they will therefore always be more often the victims than the culprits. Also, domestic happiness is more necessary to them than to us. And the quality by which they most easily hold a man, their beauty, decreases every year after they have come to maturity, but this does not happen to those qualities of personality - women don’t really care tuppence about our looks - by which we hold women. Thus in the ruthless war of promiscuity women are at a double disadvantage. They play for higher stakes and are also more likely to lose. I have no sympathy with moralists who frown at the increasing crudity of female provocativeness. These signs of desperate competition fill me with pity.
Secondly, though the ‘right to happiness’ is chiefly claimed for the sexual impulse, it seems to me impossible that the matter should stay there. The fatal principle, once allowed in that department, must sooner or later seep through our whole lives. We thus advance towards a society in which not only each man but every impulse in each man claims carte blanche. And then, though our technological skill may help us to survive a little longer, our civilisation will have died at heart, and will - one dare not even add ‘unfortunately’ - be swept away.
I think God’s left Islam there for a reason - to challenge our self centred Western civilisation with a harsher reality. Either we get back to our Christian roots, or we will, as he wrote, be swept away.
