It looks like the swine flu is back and worse than ever. Last time I’m sure our prayers did much to stop it, so let’s gather together and ask God to end it again.

Our Father who art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy name.
Hear our prayers
And the prayers of the sick.
Heal those who suffer from the swine flu
Throughout the world it has taken enough lives.
Help and guide the doctors and nurses fighting it
And help and guide the patients fighting it within
That they may both have no fear
Nor be overwhelmed
But stand steadfast and strong
And through perseverance
Defeat the sickness.
Amen.

Our Lady of Lourdes, pray for those suffering with the swine flu.

O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not our petitions,

Swine flu is not necessarily more dangerous than any other flu, so please do not panic. OTOH, don’t be careless, either. Especially around elderly and sick people. I will try to find a link that points out the most vulnerable.
