Symbolic Communion At Home

Because at this time we can’t attend Mass because of the COVID19 restrictions, is it permissible to use bread & wine for communion during the Liturgy of the Eucharist while watching at home. I know it isn’t transubstantiated into the precious Body & Blood of Our Lord but I wondered if I could use bread & wine at home while watching as a kind of symbolic communion?
 
No. Emulating the Eucharist is disrespectful to the sacraments. We don’t emulate baptism, confirmation or any other sacraments so we shouldn’t do the same with the Eucharist.
 
OK thank you for that info Usige. I thought I’d ask as I wasn’t sure
