A staggeringly prolific song. No different than the devil talking in Screwtape Letters…just another medium its delivered in-song.
An “incantation?” This reminds me when Cindy Sheehan actually said she pictures her son looking down from heaven and talking to her (who doesnt do that with dead loved ones?) apparently not radical righties…who make things up cuz their hate is so great for her and then when Matt Drudge got done twisting it, the headline read “Sheehan CHANNELS dead son”

Only backwoods preachers who still dance with snakes, along with radical fundamentalists and Jehovah Witnesses who think drinking, dancing and listening to rock music is of the devil…only they would construe Bono as doing an incantation…they are deluded people. Thats not an attack, its the truth.
