Well forgive me for using the word proclaim instead of PROFESS.

And you claim that you are a RC, but in turn you deny the fullness of the truth that the RC teaches.🤷
Oh my, what an objection. What truth have I denied?

You want to claim something that the RC does not teach i.e. The Muslims DO follow the same God. All the RC teaches is that Muslims claim they do. There is a difference in the two.
CCC THe plan of salvation includes the Muslims who PROFESS to hold the faith of Abraham and together WITH US, (please read this part) and together with US they ADORE the one merciful God, mankinds judge on the last day.
And? Which part of the above states that they do actually follow the God of Abraham? All it says is that they profess to do so. And as I said some post before, they do share a better relationship with the mystical body of Christ than a Hindu does.

But as I said a million times, it is a different thing to profess and actually DO teach or follow.
I suppose you agree with Mickey that we can pick and choose what teaching in the RCC we want to agree with and ignore or disagree with the one we do not.
I give full ascent to the teachings of the Church. That being said, I give full assent to the teachings that are interpreted properly.

Right now you want me to accept your interpretation which leaves much to be deserved. There is no definition of similarity and no reason given to accept your definition of similarity.

Me, and other here are merely pointing out that on the intuitive sense of similarity, Islam does not qualify as having the same God as Christianity.
If you read the front of the CCC it says everything in the CCC has resulted whose unity and coherence are ASSURED. It was intrusted to a commision of 12 Cardinals and Bishops chaired by Cardinal Josheph Ratzinger.
So? Whose denying the CCC? I am merely denying Rinnie’s interpretation of it.
Because you don’t see it that way it is not true then, So you feel you can overpower the Cardinals Bishops and Current Pope because you don’t see it the way the RCC teaches.
Lets not make false accusations here.
Well if the leaders of the RCC who have be given the promise from God to speak in his name, cannot sway you, there is no way I, who claim no Power of the Holy Spirit to teach in his name sure can’t.
So why are you so sure about your interpretation of that teaching is more correct than mine?

No. The Creator is the Holy Trinity, which includes Jesus Christ.
It does not say ALL Muslims. It says those that acknowledge the Creator and profess the Faith of Abraham. Those that adore the one true God MUST be those that profess the Trinity, as Dominus Iesus states. Those that acknowledge the Creator and profess the Faith of Abraham have received the gift of the Gospel. Naturally those that accept the Trinity will adore the one true God.
The Church’s relationship with THE Muslims. You are really grasping at straws here. In the first place are the Muslims. Now you are either a Muslim or you are not. If you are not a Muslim then the Church is not talking about you in this paragraph.

Please do not get angry with me, this is not my interpretation. This is the teaching of the RCC. It says the muslims together with US worship the one merciful God. What is there to explain.

Even Mickey has to agree with me here. Rather he agrees with the teaching, he has to agree that it is the teaching of the CCC.

No Rinnie…it’s as simple as this.

Since you are having monumental difficulty understanding this….let me make it really really really simple for you.

Sura 4:171 (Koran)– Allah forbid that he should have a son!

1 John 2:23 (Douay-Rheims)– Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father.
Mickey what are you talking about. Where in the world did I ever say the Church was in complete agreement with the teachings of Mohamad. We view him as a false prophet and the same with his teachings.

The RCC never said that. Actually I quoted you what the Pope said, and he said there is very little that we have in common. They are miles apart.

As the Pope stated very little do we have in common. They do accept the Blessed Mother as I stated, and they do accept Jesus as her son. Buts thats probally as far as they go.

We are now going in circles buddy. As I stated in the beginning what does them following the teachings of a false prophet have to do with us having the same God.

And we do have the same God. The RCC acknowledges us and them adore the one merciful God.

This was not about if they had the fullness of the truth. IF they did they would be apart of the Church.

So as I stated you can deny them the True God if you choose but my faith does not allow me the same. My faith teaches we have adore the same one. SO again Mickey you deny their God you deny the God of the Whole Catholic Church.

They do accept the Blessed Mother as I stated, and they do accept Jesus as her son. Buts thats probally as far as they go.
What does it mean to say I accept Rinnie if I added some lies about Rinnie to my definition of Rinnie?

Oh and I replied to your rash charge on me that I do not give full ascent to the teachings of the Church. I would very much like a reply from you on that matter.

I’ve seen your interpretation numerous times and I don’t agree with it. Muslims do not acknowledge the Creator, the Trinity. Therefore they do not adore the one true God. Dominus Iesus clarifies this nicely.

If you accept the teaching of the RCC why are we in disagreement. You said the Church does not profess (which means to claim openly) that the Muslims worship the same God as us.

If I am wrong in my interpretation and they truly do no worship the same God as us, How can we together both adore the One merciful God then.

Where did I add any lies. I quoted the CCC word for word.

We Profess our faith in God in the Apostles Creed every Sunday, It is our Profession of Faith.

Is it not you who said that when the CHurch said they profess means something other then claim openly then I apoligize for the misunderstanding/

I cannot help what you agee or disagree with. It is the true teaching of the CC. Again it is not my interpretation Please go to the CCC 841 and read it for yourself.

There is nothing to mis-interpret. The CCC states clearly that together WITH US they adore the One merciful God. How can that be mis-interpretated.

That is sadly mistaken.

Mickey ~

I agree with you here.

If you look at the entire passage:

4:171 O FOLLOWERS of the Gospel!

Do not overstep the bounds [of truth] in your religious beliefs, and do not say of God anything but the truth.

The Christ Jesus, son of Mary, was but God’s Apostle - [the fulfilment of] His promise which He had conveyed unto Mary - and a soul created by Him.

Believe, then, in God and His apostles, and do not say, "[God is] a trinity".

Desist [from this assertion] for your own good.

God is but One God; utterly remote is He, in His glory, from having a son: unto Him belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and none is as worthy of trust as God.

So Rinnie~

How can our God be the same God as in the islamic Allah for the muslims.

You cannot dismiss what their koran says about Allah.

So, again, how is their allah, who is in their koran, same as our Father, Son & The Holy Spririt.

From the Gospel of John (Douay-Rheims)

[5] Jesus answered: Amen, amen I say to thee, unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Ghost, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God

[16] For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son; that whosoever believeth in him, may not perish, but may have life everlasting. For God sent not his Son into the world, to judge the world, but that the world may be saved by him. [18] He that believeth in him is not judged. But he that doth not believe, is already judged: because he believeth not in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [19] And this is the judgment: because the light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than the light: for their works were evil. [20] For every one that doth evil hateth the light, and cometh not to the light, that his works may not be reproved.

[36] He that believeth in the Son, hath life everlasting; but he that believeth not the Son, shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him

[40] And this is the will of my Father that sent me: that every one who seeth the Son, and believeth in him, may have life everlasting, and I will raise him up in the last day

[1] Amen, amen I say to you: He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up another way, the same is a thief and a robber. [2] But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. [3] To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. [4] And when he hath let out his own sheep, he goeth before them: and the sheep follow him, because they know his voice. [5] But a stranger they follow not, but fly from him, because they know not the voice of strangers.
[6] This proverb Jesus spoke to them. But they understood not what he spoke to them. [7] Jesus therefore said to them again: Amen, amen I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. [8] All others, as many as have come, are thieves and robbers: and the sheep heard them not. [9] I am the door. By me, if any man enter in, he shall be saved: and he shall go in, and go out, and shall find pastures. [10] The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I am come that they may have life, and may have it more abundantly.
[11] I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd giveth his life for his sheep. [12] But the hireling, and he that is not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and flieth: and the wolf catcheth, and scattereth the sheep: [13] And the hireling flieth, because he is a hireling: and he hath no care for the sheep. [14] I am the good shepherd; and I know mine, and mine know me. [15] As the Father knoweth me, and I know the Father: and I lay down my life for my sheep.
[16] And other sheep I have, that are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice, and there shall be one fold and one shepherd.

[26] But you do not believe, because you are not of my sheep. [27] My sheep hear my voice: and I know them, and they follow me. [28] And I give them life everlasting; and they shall not perish for ever, and no man shall pluck them out of my hand. [29] That which my Father hath given me, is greater than all: and no one can snatch them out of the hand of my Father. [30] I and the Father are one.

Amen.
Francis

So Mohammed was a false prophet.
Yes
But the revelations contained in the Koran were given him by Gabriel (?) from Allah.
The muslim claim is that an angel spoke to mohamad and said these are allah’s words.
So his false prophesy came from Allah whom Muslims worship as the one true god.
That is their claim
And absurdly he claimed to be the same as the God of Abraham.
Once again, it is claimed
In other words the teachings of the false prophet came from their god, Allah.
That is what is claimed & that is what’s written in their koran

My apologies jakasaki but I’m a bit of a technophobe and I have not fathomed out yet how to not quote the whole post when I only wish to quote certain elements. Bear with me and pray for me then I will get there:confused:😊

Peace be with you

Nope, Allah is the Arabic name for ONE GOD. Look it up you will see that I am telling you the truth.

If his prophesy came from Allah it would not be false. Only He claimed it came from the One true God. But if it came from the One true God who is again Allah in the Arabic language it would not be in direct conflict with the word of God. It is also Aramaic, the language of our Lord for God.

But if you read the word of God Jesus would be the last to come, ANd it will be Jesus who will come again. He will come down from the sky the same way he was lifted up.

We do not accept what he claims. He said Allah gave him the true word, this is again not possible. God does not contradict himself.
