Syrian government behind spread of coronavirus in Syria’s Deir ez-Zor – Autonomous Administration
DEIR EZ-ZOR, Syria (North Press)- The Health Committee of the Civil Council in Deir ez-Zor held the
Syrian Government the responsible for the coronavirus outbreak in the Deir ez-Zor region and accused it of allowing travel across the Euphrates’ banks.
The western bank of Deir ez-Zor is a Syrian government-held area, while the eastern bank is a Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF)-held area.
Sherin Majoul, the co-chair of Health Committee of the Civil Council, said, “The Syrian government allows people who live in area to move between the Euphrates banks illegally, ignoring the precautionary measures imposed in the Kurdish-held area.”
