“Islamist rebels in Syria reportedly execute two children deemed to be the wrong side of the conflict.”

“In the [attached thumbnail] can be seen a terrorist reading death sentence to the boys, gunfire is heard, boys fall dead.”

The Syrian rebels sure do appear to be evil!!! These types of atrocities need to end!!! How awful!!! Will social justice ever prevail!!!

Why are we helping these monsters!?!?!?! Anyone who can execute a kid, let alone two kids without a second thought doesn’t deserve help of any kind.

There was another thread about this news story earlier today which has since been deleted.

How about the ones who gas 1400 people, 400 of them children, do they deserve help of any kind?

No. I was going to say that we should just avoid the whole Syria conflict in general. Either way, we are helping vicious murderers. I didn’t say anything so that we could hopefully avoid a huge debate about the topic.

Eternal rest grant unto them O Lord. Let perpetual light shine upon them. May the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen. :signofcross: :crying:

The whole Middle East has been having having problems like what is happening in Syria for the past 4000 years and will keep on having these problems until the Lord Jesus Christ comes back. 🤷 :gopray::knight1:

That was me. It got deleted because I linked it to a violent video.
And again I say that we should stay out of Syria as we cannot say with certainty which is the lesser of the two evils in this country. Let us pray for the two unnamed boys who were executed.

Let us join the Pope today and fast and pray for peace in Syria.

Lord have mercy.

We need to stay out of this no win situation militarily. Support the needy with all the medical and food supplies. The middle east nations will just drag the west into their never ending cycle of war and destruction:signofcross:.

Perhaps the whole idea of saviors whether Jew, Christian or Islamic is what making these conflicts grow, everyone is preparing themselves to dominate the “holy land” where they can welcome their saviors.

If only they knew that the real Holy Land is found from within! My gut feeling is that when our savior comes, He will come from within.

The problem with doing nothing is it gives the impression to others that the US will allow anything to occur, and will not respond, HOWEVER, I do think a US strike is a bad idea, as it will lead to a possible wars with China, Iran, Russia, and the worst part, any of these nations attacking Israel instead of the US, as they know we will definitely respond then.

The whole situation is very bad and in my opinion, will probably lead to WW3.

There was never one moment that I wasn’t strongly against talk of the U.S. getting involved militarily with Syria. The first moment I heard talk of it something in my gut was telling me that we should leave President Assad alone and not side with the so-called “rebels”. Whatever President Assad has done has been defensive against a terrorist enemy called “rebels” that started this war. If Syria with Assad is bad a Syria ruled by these Islamic extremist “rebels” will be a thousand times worse. And, as with Iraq and Egypt, Christians there will be killed more than any other group. I’m also against the U.S. bombing Syria because a lot of ancient Christian churches and relics will be destroyed. Bombing Syria would be nothing but an act of revenge. But revenge begets retaliation. Violence begets violence. Nothing good can come from it.

Let us pray for EVERYBODY in Syria, both the ones that have died and those who did the killing. :gopray2:

Very often, such as the American Civil War that abolished slavery.
What about the private homes and property that were burned and destroyed by Union forces in the name of total war; was that social justice?

What does that have to do with the question in my original post?
