**What role did the visit of Rev Dr Claudius Buchanan to the Malabar Coast in 1806 play in the study of Syriac and Syriac Liturgies from the Middle East in Travancore in the 19th century?

What role did CMS (including seminary, press and college), LMS, and Lutheran Basel Mission play in the establishment of new churches in Malabar Coast (then consisting of princely states of Travancore, Cochin and Malabar District) in the nineteenth/twentieth century? **

Apparently there is no point in attempting a discussion with you. You prefer to lecture, as one speaking from above.

The reason why sources are needed from your end, is because you are stating things which are contrary to the vast majority of academics and local Tradition.

You keep saying that you want us to find sources for ourselves, I have looked and have not seen one single source supporting your theory. Why don’t you produce your sources so that we can read them for ourselves?

You keep saying that your role is to prod the rest of us to look from the era of before Buchanan - well, why don’t you help us out and lead us to something, anything? I have searched for anything which supports your version from the time you’ve begun posting and have found nothing.

Absence of evidence is not proof.

It’s become evident to me that you feel your role is to be “provocateur” not to have a discussion - therefore I am leaning toward exercising my freedom to ignore you.

Just one final word. Take some time to learn the difference between what is considered appropriate manners on forum posting versus personal blogging.
