I was at Barnes and Noble a few days ago and I at passing noticed a book entitled “Systmatic Theology” or something to that effect and breifly flipped through it. I noticed that the author did not accept the Deutercanonical books, so I put it back on the self as just another protestant book. But it did seem to look at things in a systmatic way, of what I saw, (it was quite a sizeable book). Does anyone know of any books of that sort out there from a Catholic point of veiw?
The ones I have read, stuff by Mr. Keating, Bishop Sheen, ect., did not go in depth? They really seemed to be for those that were just starting. Which is good but, I would like to expand my knowladge on our faith, what it all means (like the Sacrifice of the Mass, Purgatory, offering of Sacrifice), and how to defend it. Can anyone refer me to a good book? Or should I just look here and there? Thanks and God bless.
