Alec said, âSorry about the headache but itâs probably a symptom of unaccustomed THINKING which we all know is really tough. But itâs worth it. Happy the man or woman who can reconcile his faith with science, but no-one said it was easy.â
Your comment isnât meant to be condescending is it?

Iâm more than capable of THINKING about faith and science and âfaith with scienceâ even if I donât profess to have a pointed head!

âFaith with scienceâ seems to be fashionable these days. (Far be it from me to prevent the wave of satisfaction.) The truth is that often times when science and faith butt heads the name calling becomes tainted with a spirit of meanness that crosses the line of civility. Itâs all about the tongue isnât it? Without the tongue how can you think? Or is it without the tongue you can think without hearing how you sound?
Does a personâs happiness really depends upon a reconciliation between âfaith with scienceâ? Arenât there many people who are perfectly happy with one or the other or neither?
Alec said, âA science forum would rapidly become a ghetto, a wasteland for geeks and pointed heads like me. Then Iâd disappear (which some might rather welcome I suppose) because since I talk to other scientists and engineers all day, why would I want to do that out of work?â
Ok, youâre a geek with a pointed head

that talks all day to other geeks (some with pointed heads, some round heads) in a place called âwastelandâ, and youâve discovered your enjoyment is geeking it with other geekees and non-geekees in the arena of âfaith with scienceâ on this website because you wonât disappear? (REALLY? I donât think you will ever disappear unless you want to disappear.) You seem to be implying that you wish to combine the two, âfaith with scienceâ. Whatâs your faith, Alec?
Alec said, âThe best cross fertilisation happens the way the forum is organised now - Iâd prefer to leave it that way. I benefit from other non-scientific discussions and apologetics, you know.â
I now know that you THINK itâs beneficial to participate in non-scientific discussions and apologetics. I assume you are telling me that apologetics is âfaith with scienceâ. Am I correct? Can we then have science without faith? Iâm not asking to be rid of the apologetics forum only to add a science forum. I THINK itâs a reasonable request in mainstream THINKING. Donât you? I recall Phil thinking along my lines. How do âweâ go about determining
âwhatâ benefits who? Whose in charge?
Alec, have I provided you with an enlightening out-of-work experience?
