I was on ebay to check out Catholic items for gifts, and I noticed a wall tabernacle for sale.
The door hinges were removed and the seller does not have the key.
Several news stories in recent years have documented stolen tabernacles, even wall tabernacles.
The seller is shipping from the Loveland OH area. there have been several Church desecrations and burglaries in the Cincinnati/Indianapolis area in the last couple of years.
Note that the seller does not use the word tabernacle, but does use container and Holy Sacrament. If police were keeping an eye out for stolen tabernacle listings, a seller might not use the word tabernacle.
Is anyone aware of a stolen wall tabernacle?
Pray, pray, pray!
