I apologize if anyone found this quiz rude or offensive. I meant it to be ‘fun’. Well of course an internet quiz isn’t going to tell you exactly what religion you should be. And you can’t really expect all the questions to be ‘Catholic’. This is for all christians, not just Catholics. Again, I apologize if this quiz was offensive.

I agree. How could I possibly be 100% Roman Catholic, 100% Eastern Orthodox and 100% LCMS all at the same time?
Yeah, I was Eastern Orthodox (which I predicted) 100%, Lutheran 100% and Roman Catholic (which I am) 100% in that order. Fourth was Evangelical Lutheran Church 93% (give me a break!).

No worries. I took it as fun and shame on those who take it seriously. I mean seriously, folks! :rotfl:

I didn’t say I found it offensive-I said I found it silly. Big difference. And I didn’t say the questions should be Catholic, I said they were too protestant in conception, that is, they seemed to me to be written from a Protestant mindset. Don’t know why you’d take that as “offensive”.

    *]Liberal Quakerism (9%)
    *]Unitarian Universalism (3%)
    *]Unity Church (0%)

  1. Unitarianism at 3%, haha. 🙂

I’m not sure how answering “I agree, high preference” to “There is one God” can result in 72% compatibility with a wacky polytheist religion, but oh well.

And how could I be over 40% suited for all those US-specific denominations when I don’t even live in America? 😉

That’s very interesting that you should say that, because I decided to do it anyway after your post to me last night and know what my answer was? No, not Catholic as I had presumed, it was actually:
Eastern Orthodox-100%
Roman Catholic-94%
United Pentecostal Church- 76%

Everything else was 67% and then way below that.

Now I have no idea how this happened! I’m not even surprised so much at the 100% E.O results as I am at the 94% R.C one- Hope it doesn’t mean that I don’t know my faith! 😊.
You probably said you though Infant communion was acceptable. That seems to be the trend with others. 😃

👍 I think most that have mosted here has had fun.

Yes I know that and it is what I was trying to convey without someone getting me on a mistake. Guess you got me anyway.

I just retook the test with the same answers as before, but instead of agreeing that there is only one God I disagreed… My top two results are the same (EO and LCMS at 100%), Evangelican Lutheran went down 1% and Roman Catholic up 2%.

😃

My top six – those rated above 75%.

Evangelical Lutheran Church (100%)

Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (93%)

Episcopal/Anglican Church (92%)

Methodist/Wesleyan Church (83%)

Eastern Orthodox Church (81%)

Roman Catholic Church (76%)

Me too. Everything doesn’t have to so serious. 👍

Have any of you taken the Beliefnet quiz?

beliefnet.com/Entertainment/Quizzes/BeliefOMatic.aspx

That one nails me nearly everytime as a mainline to liberal protestant. Once in awhile a Quaker verdict sneaks in depending on how much emphasis I place on the pacifism question.

There’s also this one on your spirtual type.

beliefnet.com/section/quiz/index.asp?surveyID=27
I took that quiz, infact they had a thread on it here but for some reason they closed it.

forums.catholic-questions.org/showthread.php?t=411676

They now have it in another Catholic forum. 😉

Belief-o-matic says I’m 100% EO, and RC. I’m 87% Seventh Day Adventist.

Take this Christian denomination selector to see (by your beliefs) what you would be if you weren’t a Catholic.

selectsmart.com/FREE/select.php?client=christiandenom

Please list your top 3 results and any comments.
I’m Anglican and I took the test. Guess I’m not as Anglican as I thought. lol.
Code:
		Eastern Orthodox Church (100%)

		Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (100%)

		Episcopal/Anglican Church (91%)

		Evangelical Lutheran Church (91%)

Interesting.
