I didn’t say I found it offensive-I said I found it silly. Big difference. And I didn’t say the questions should be Catholic, I said they were too protestant in conception, that is, they seemed to me to be written from a Protestant mindset. Don’t know why you’d take that as “offensive”.
I am very sorry if I misunderstood you. I was not trying to be rude. Please accept my apology! 😦

Roman Catholic 100%
Eastern Orthodox 88%
Lutheran, Missouri Synod 75%

I’m Anglican and I took the test. Guess I’m not as Anglican as I thought. lol.

Eastern Orthodox Church (100%)

Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (100%)

Episcopal/Anglican Church (91%)

Evangelical Lutheran Church (91%)

Roman Catholic Church (82%)

Interesting.

Anna
Hmm Anna I dunno what to say. I on the otherhand scored Episcopal/Anglican Church (100%) 😃 Maybe you just didn’t place the same emphasis of importance on some of the questions that I did. But 91 is a good score. 👍 On your journey, peace. 🙂

Roman Catholic Church (100%)
Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (86%)
Evangelical Lutheran Church (79%)
Episcopal/Anglican Church (72%)

No surprise here.

If infants receiving communion is an issue for this test then the test maker does not realize that the Eastern Catholic Church gives infants communion. It underscores that the test maker does not have a handle on formulating a proper test.🙂

Coptic, Coptic, Coptic, 🙂

I don’t think it is an exact science. 😃

Anna
Anna, I’m not allowed to answer publicly but I PMd you.

Me too. Everything doesn’t have to so serious. 👍

Have any of you taken the Beliefnet quiz?

beliefnet.com/Entertainment/Quizzes/BeliefOMatic.aspx

That one nails me nearly everytime as a mainline to liberal protestant. Once in awhile a Quaker verdict sneaks in depending on how much emphasis I place on the pacifism question.
Oh my! I took that quiz:
  1. Eastern Orthodox (100%)
  2. Roman Catholic (100%)
  3. Orthodox Quaker (89%)
Orthodox Quaker? Guess I’m a little heavy on the pacifism.

Beliefnet said

%100 Roman Catholic
%100 Eastern Orthodox
%91 Orthodox Quaker

Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod - 100%
Evangelical Lutheran Church - 94%
Eastern Orthodox Church - 88%
Roman Catholic - 84%
Episcopal/Anglican Church - 81%
Methodist/Wesleyan Church - 81%

:rotfl: there’s hope for you yet!!

Yikes… I am pretty apathetic on several make or break die hard Catholic commonly held beliefs. Trouble is I think it’s hard to pigeon hole what others belief without much governance.

Eastern Orthodox Church (100%)

Episcopal/Anglican Church (84%)

Evangelical Lutheran Church (84%)

Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (84%)

Roman Catholic Church (84%)

Code:
		Roman Catholic Church (100%)

		Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (96%)

		Eastern Orthodox Church (93%)

Yes problems with some wording of questions and understanding that a Catholic can believe infants can receive Holy Communion (they can in various Eastern Catholic Churches)…I as a Catholic and Roman (not eastern) can certainly believe that they can for …indeed they CAN in those Catholic Churches…

They should use the term “Catholic” anyhow not Roman Catholic…

Mennonite Brethren (100%)
Assemblies of God (91%)
Orthodox Quakerism (87%)
Episcopal/Anglican Church (82%)
Seventh-Day Adventist (82%)
Church of Christ (78%)
Eastern Orthodox Church (78%)
and then…
Roman Catholic Church (41%)-ouch!

at least…
Jehovah’s Witness (0%)

I wonder why the gap between EO and RC. Maybe the one about the infallible guy, infant communion? What do I know, I’m just a Methodist. 69%
