I thought I would have had the Assemblies of God and the Catholic church up higher, but they’re not. :3
You’ve got some reading to do. 👍

My top 3 answers:

**Roman Catholic Church (100%) **
International Church of Christ (97%)
Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (97%)

For some reason I can’t stop smiling. 🙂

People that have more than 1 church as 100% are probably not using the “how much is this important for you” bar.

Take this Christian denomination selector to see (by your beliefs) what you would be if you weren’t a Catholic.

A few questions should have been asked differently in my humble opinion. Nevertheless, and I am not at all surprised:

Roman Catholic Church (100%)

Eastern Orthodox Church (87%)

Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (87%)

Me, neither, Joe. 😉

No real surprise here.🍿

Perhaps someone can help me with this question. My results are very similar to what I am seeing from other Roman Catholic Quiz takers. I get why Eastern Orthodox comes in second, I was surprised that we turn out more Lutheran than Anglican/Episcopalean. What about the quiz or about our beliefs tie us more closely to Lutherans than to Anglicans? Is it because of recent change in their beliefs or core theological similarities/differences?

Pure speculation: Lutheranism tends to be more doctrinal. Anglicanism, less so.
The “slide” mechanism indicating importance may also have an influence.

I’m 100% Roman Catholic and 100% Missori Synod Lutheran!!! I was birn and raised Catholic and am now going to a WELS Lutheran church , but I am struggling with my faith…every time I go to bible study I see the proof that there is only one true church.
Please pray for me my soul is tormented.

Roman Catholic Church (100%)
Eastern Orthodox Church (95%)
Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (95%)

woot.

hey, this could be a good way to support christian unity. I got 54% seventh day Adventist, so how different could we really be?

Lutherans and Catholics are not that far apart when it comes to this quiz. As I said before, if we have to be honest in our disagreements before we can truly come together, which I pray for.

I happen to be Anglican, but the quiz results for me showed that choice being well down the list. The quiz was probably using the more liberal Episcopal or Church of England positions on issues rather than those of the more conservative Anglican groups that have broken away. When answering the questions from a “39 Articles” perspective, Episcopal/Anglican was about halfway down the list, with the top three being:

Presbyterian Church in America/Orthodox Presbyterian Church (100%)
Reformed Churches (100%)
Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (99%)

That answers why the more liberal branches of Anglicanism skews down Anglicanism generally, but why is it that the ELCA, easily as liberal as the TEC, seems to show up more often than Anglicanism?

Unitarian Universalism (100%)
Episcopal/Anglican Church (93%)
Liberal Quakerism (93%)
Eastern Orthodox Church (90%)

The funny thing is… the UU church has never attracted me in the slightest, I don’t care for the Episcopalian liturgy, and I know next to nothing about Quakerism. I do like the Orthodox liturgy though, so that has possibilities! 😉

I must have got something wrong because it listed #1 as Eastern Orthodox…
…Then Lutheran Miss Synod then Catholic.
…Yet all three were 100% so why wasn’t Catholic on top?

Alphabetical order? The quiz lists Catholic as “Roman Catholic”.

It’s interesting to see the top lines but also the bottom lines. I’m not much of an Unitarian.
