Taking a Saint's Name?

Can candidates in RCIA take a saint’s name upon reception into the Church? When is this done? How do I ask? etc?

Any help would be appreciated.

Congrats on entering the Church

Yes you can. This can be done at either the baptism or confirmation. Your director should be able to help. If they say this is something they don’t do, then ask for an exception.

PS Ask the Lord to reveal your saint to you. You will be surprised with the results.
