This is an excellent example of subjective thinking and probably twisting the meaning behind the words of a Saint. If modern Christianity is reduced to relative truths and the preachings of a Priest/Pastor are just to be considered their personal opinions on subjects, why even bother with attending church. We can just do our own thing.

Catholics do not attend Mass for preachings. They attend Mass for Holy Communion, and if not able to partake, they attend Mass weekly at a minimum.
I think it is obvious that they would also be under the direction of a priest for confession and spiritual guidance or at least, speaking with a priest about these things. For instance, if the Priest gives a homily that is absolutely absurd, that really does not matter for the Catholic. It most likely is still a valid Mass. The substance of the priest’s homily could be minimal or almost non existant. One can not worry that a Mass did not take place over something that is happening nearly everywhere now.

Good point, I think I was sort of going a little beyond the article where I was substituting preacher for church. The only reason for me to be Catholic if that Christ is who he said he was and that the Catholic church was founded as the earthly instrument to propagate this truth. If I as a person disagree on an article of faith, then I need to find another church or none at all.
