Taking crayons

Is taking crayons from the restarurants considered stealing. I mean the crayons that they give for the kids menus, is it okay to take them with you when you are done even if they might reuse them?

The ones that come in a little packet, I think are intended to be taken home. They often advertise for the restaurant.

The ones that come in a cup then those should be returned if possible, those are meant to be reused. Sometimes they might get ruined by toddlers coloring too vigorously.

If you are a regular at that restaurant, bring some crayons for them. We’ve done that before, and the owner appreciated it.
