We should straighten something out here. Birth control pills stop you from ovulating, tricks the body to think it’s already pregnant. It does not abort as some have said in earlier posts. There are great benefits to being on the pill, one being regulating your period and pms. Some girls I know bleed really bad - the pill has helped tremendously. The catholic church should have zero (name removed by moderator)ut on things like your period. You are doing something to help yourself - good for you. Next thing we’ll probably see here is: is it a sin that I use a tampon vs. a pad - come on people, grow up. Ask and trust your Dr., God gave them amazing talents to cure. The church just wants to control.
