Yeah, getting between Europe and Australia is a bit of a haul. The best I can do from where I am is 22 hours with one stop. I understand that as of March this year Qantas has established a 17-hour non-stop service link between London and Perth, but (1) unless takeoff is late in afternoon, flying out of London requires me to spend the night before at the airport, and (2) Perth???

Going to see the parents in the States, however, takes “only” 15 hours or so. :flight_departure:

There are pink flowers on the tree outside the window where my computer is.
 
I wonder what variety it is?
Just outside my window is a peach tree .It is amazing to watch day by day the flower buds there through Winter changing slightly then swelling to open near Spring.
It’s still Winter ,but there’s the slightest change in the air unimagined after the shortest day past .Crows and magpies beginning to gather nesting materials 🙂

You’ll be heading out of it, as we head towards it. We just went into Summer on June 21st I think was the date…

We’re getting a lot of rain right now, but I don’t usually mind it as it’s good for the crops unless we get too much.

I often think of the apple crops which can normally use it in order to be ready for the Autumn apple season. 🙂 💮 🍎 🍏

It’s a frost here if you’d like to have brunch later.
It would be hard having the heat if you’re not used to it :confused: Is there a cool change on the way?
 
It isn’t your prof. job to make you memorize math equations. When you get into H. S. or College they toss it out to you and then send you on your way. Now it is Your job. Maybe you can get a do-over…I didn’t know…I didn’t know!

I don’t mind frost as long as it’s not icy underfoot .

Next week may be a bit cooler according to the forecast . I’m going to Liverpool on Monday until Friday , so I don’t want it as hot as this . You know we are never satisfied with the weather here . 😄

I slipped a miraculous medal in a gay atheist classmate’s backpack a while ago. She would get annoyed when I made the sign of the cross and read my prayer book in class. I wonder if the medal is helping her.
