ROFL. My wife…a real hothouse plant…took a blanket to Liverpool…‘just in case.’ Last evening (7.30) we went out for dinner. Our hotel room was a nice 21degs…a fridge compared to outside; even at that time. Best of luck!

Another frost,one last night also .Whispers of a dry year ahead,prayers needed for those up North who haven’t had enough rain for cropping and grass for livestock.
 
I think skunk spray smells a lot like lemon.
But there just might be something wrong with my olfactory system
 
The thought of eating kiwi fruit makes me wonder what kiwi fruit tastes like .

It’s been very hot & humid here for several days 95 - 100 F (35-37 C) ☀️🔥
but today it dropped down into the mid-80’s F. We’ve finally got some rain too which we really need.

This is only temporary and in a few days it’ll be back in the 90’s.
 
A major addiction of mine is drinking lots of Caffeine-Free Diet Coca-Cola every day. I drink the caffeine-free because I can’t tolerate caffeine. No other cola or soda drink has been able to substitute for this addiction.

I’ve given up lots of other things without too much struggle (coffee, alcohol, cigarettes) but giving up Caffeine Free Diet Coca-Cola has been an immense struggle. Until now . . .

Guess what’s working?

Iced caffeine-free Green Tea! 🍵

I make 4 cups a day, refrigerate it and drink it throughout the day. It satisfies whatever “cravings” the cola was satisfying and I haven’t craved the cola since then.

Here’s to Green Tea! 🥃

Mango stein is another fruit you may not have tried,they are really delicious!
Hmm,I meant to buy chestnuts and roast them but I didn’t notice any in the shops 🤔
 
Kiwis are delicious 🥝 (yum!)

I’ve never eaten (or seen) a mangosteen. They were banned in the US but that’s been lifted but I don’t remember seeing any available in my area.

Chestnuts are also hard to find here. 🌰

I’m craving watermelon . . . 🍉

Ohhh…watermelon…🤩 it’s funny,I tend not to eat it in cold weather,but really it shouldn’t make a difference TL.It is great in hot weather though.
I just ate a punnet of strawberries 🙂

Watermelon is in season too but like you, I wouldn’t normally eat it in winter either.
