I really need to talk to a priest or someone. I am at the end of my rope. I posted something earlier that explains more but I am asking for help. I read some of these posts and it scared me. As I wrote in my other post I felt as if this is the end, I know it is, and I am writing this to no one. No one to speak to speak to. Now no one for help!
GO_FLYERS, this is an old thread. You say you posted something earlier, but this appears to be the only post you have ever made. Sometimes posts get deleted by the administrators if there is a problem with the information they contain. There are posting rules, so you may want to take a look at those.

I suggest you back out of this thread and try to post something using the “New Thread” button that will be at the top of your screen. Hopefully someone here can help you.

God bless you.

It Seems as if this wonderful God erased my post here. I said yesterday I was at the end of my rope and I only need the last 28 inches. Well this morning my sisiter attempted suiide for the second time in three months. Like when my brother died at ten months no priests were around. In fact the one priest was out drinking with the guy across the street in a strip club. My father was an abusive alcoholic but the GD church loved him. Every Thursday, Friday, Saturday he was drunk but all hungover he made it to mass. We were told how evil we were for not showing him respect and love. The father of eight One son dead another now dying due to his abuse, a sister trying to commit suicide and these are not cries for help. Jumping off bridges is really trying to end it.I’m almost there. My mother worked nights to support us because it is kind of hard to work drunk. I came back to the church. Believing in it, defending it and now embarrassed at how stupid I was. To be abandon again. To see forgiveness to gay priests given out like bonus’s to mobsters and the church condoning it, giving millions to them while others try to live a good life.We were told how evil we were because of the abuse we endured and respect we could not give our father by these same people who, just read the news and get sick yourself. This like the other post will not be read. It is not pleasant. It was a cry for help but to find out my sister did what she did and the environment from people I’m supposed to look up to, as being closer to God only makes my situation clearer. I was crying out for help. I again forgive those who may have hurt me. I pray that those I hurt forgive me and I pray God forgives me.

GO_FLYERS, I don’t think it was God who erased your post. Probably just some person.

I am terribly sorry to hear about your sister and all the pain and hurt you have experienced in your life and the bad experiences with the church. I am praying for both of you right now. I know it is hard to understand why these bad things are happening, but please know that you are a precious child of God. You are his creation and he loves you more than you can ever imagine. He does not want you to fall into despair.

Please pray to the Blessed Mother and reach out in your immediate community for help. Tell someone what is going on…go into the church and tell them that you need help, speak to a neighbor or a friend about what is burdening you, or call a suicide hotline. We can talk to you some here, but you really need to be in the presence of people who can assist you.

Mother Mary, I beg you to please send angels to comfort GO_FLYERS and sister. Please ask our Lord to pour out his grace upon them, to ensure the get the support they need to deal with all the trauma they have experienced in their lives. Please ask him to shower them with love and heal their wounds. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace. The Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women and blessed in the fruit of they womb Jesus. Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Thank you for your prayers. I used to believe that God would not do this to his children but I don’t any more. I have no one to call. I have no one to listen to me. I will not call or put my name on a suicide list. It ruins your lie i you don’t go through with it and it soulless. Do you have someone I can talk to?

GO_FLYERS, I just sent you a private message. You should be able to find it under the Profile tab. Let me know if you have trouble.

Hello, I am just trying to find out how I can talk with a priest online or at least away from my diocese. I am not seeking any of the sacraments, I just need some spiritual direction. Normally this wouldn’t be a problem, but I am a seminarian and these men will be my brother priests and I need help that I don’t want them to associate me with. Again, most things I would be fine talking with the priests here and for simple confession I have no qualms, but none of the local priests have been able to help me and I haven’t been able to develop a relationship that would allow me to trust them not to associate me with the level I need help.

Hi, Everybody!

I’ve also been wondering if there’s a way to talk to a priest online. Not because I have trust issues w/the parish priest, but because I’m mostly housebound, due to illness.
I know priests are way too busy with all their duties & other parishioners, to make a “house call” - much less, to do so on a regular basis. Heck, I don’t know if that’s even allowed…

I do manage to attend Mass sporadically, but that’s not the time to get into an in depth, personal conversation, anyway.

A previous post by a seminarian, made me think of something…
Are seminarians - those near ordination, of course - not newbies - allowed to converse with us on an e-mail level?
That’d be such a great resource because they have mentors who can assist them with any tough questions or situations. Just an idea…

Hopefully, my illness - although chronic - will ease up enough to allow me to meet with the local priest, who is only 4 blocks from here!!!

It’s tough, being so disabled, yet so young, & not understanding how my experience can be of value - having access to a priest would sure be helpful!!!

Peace 2 All!

You can’t talk you can post a question. No wonder people fell so distant! Send flowers and one of your prayers that make you gel like your helping!

If you call your parish, they will find a priest who can come to you. Not only is it “allowed” it is part of the ministry. If you are not seeking confession, they may recommend a deacon or a lay person who has a schedule that meets your needs if scheduling is a problem.
