why would you want to? one of the biggest hurdles people have to get over about confessing to a priest is the necessity to divulge one’s sins to another human being. since he is the one designated by Christ to hear and forgive your sins, what would be the point in discussing them with someone else?
Unless it was a therapist of some kind helping you get over a sinful habit or addiction, or work through other problems that contribute to a sin. or unless it was someone you need to apologize to, or make restitution to.
quite frankly, I and most people I know are quite bored with recitals of the sins of others, especially on TV and definitely on these forums.
